how to be emo.

hello. - - - - yes.     -     this is a blog about being emo.  I would just like to let you all I know that I don't really care what you think about me or my blog. This is for me and for me only. well. hello again XP. My name is Amber Walsh, but on my myspace account i go by  we_r_bringing_back_emo1, and my instagram name is  @lost_in_the_blade . And i would appreciate it if you only referred to me as that. I am 13 years old, questioning female, and bi. In the mornings I wake up, i question my life, go get a bowl of captain crunch, and then go back to bed because I am to emo to be awake. Eventually, my mother will come in and disrupt my peaceful slumber, breaking me from my false sense of happiness. The only good part of my day is when i take my dog for a walk, except for being outside. i'm too pasty for the "sun". as someone who identifies as an emo, i can personally say there are many misconceptions about my lifestyle. the first and most important one being that we only wear black. we also wear gray, blood red, and occasionally dark blue, but mostly black, because everyday is a funeral, the funeral of my happiness :/. The next one is that we only listen to screamo. i also listen to FOB and P!ATD, and if you don't know who they are, you're not emo enough, do some research XD. another common misconception is that a lot of people think we say rawr and nuzzles, this is a furry thing. and although i identify as a furry, this is NOT what the blog is about!!1! A lot of people confuse emos and goths. i would NEVER associate with that kind of person :l. Emos hate the world, but the world hates goths. so, before we start, you should know that there are DIFFERENT types of emos. there are the hardcore emos, like me, and people who only claim to be emos, and don't listen to the right music. i remember the first emo song i ever heard, was  go to hell for heaven's sake  by bring me the horizon. it was the first thing i related to in a really long time, and that's when i decided i wanted to embrace this new side of myself and really become emo. along with my the og band i heard, bring me the horizon, there are a lot of other bands that i also really relate to. Like MCR, P!ATD, FOB, PTV, BVB, FIR, ATL, SWS and so many others too. Some people ask what genre of music listen to, and to that all i have to say is that i don't fit within a genre. i don't fit within a stereotype, me and the music that i liten too are something in it's own. when people think of emo, they think of a depressed, attention seeking, young white girl wearing all black and to much eye makeup. but i identify as an emo and im not all of theses things, i wear a perfectly good amount of eye makeup and i'm not looking for attention, i just like to be noticed. on a daily basis i just wear some black clothes that represent how i feel, so if i feel normal i wear black. if i'm sad then i wear black , and i'm happy i wear black. but i don't always wear black, that is a common misconception, refer to the other entry please. XD. i just like my wardrobe to match how i feel, dead inside. for my shoes i go with some black OR red converse, so there i don't always wear black. and then is the makeup. i like to go for a dark eye and dark lip with just some concealer in the background to cake it all up.
