fellow emo

this was an interview i conducted with my classmate and fellow so called 'emo' freya. follow her on instgram @fre.fre.83. Her quote of the day being-

“Anyone who listens to Twenty One Pilots isnt a real emo.”
Would you consider yourself to be emo?  
I guess.

What kind of music do you listen to? Favorite bands? Screamo?
I listen to alt rock and punk pop. I like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Blink-182, The All-American Rejects, Green Day, Mayday Parade, AC/DC, and All Time Low. I’ll listen to screamo if it comes on but I don’t listen to it actively.


Describe your wardrobe. Favorite article of clothing?
I wear skinny jeans, usually black, and tops that are usually dark-colored. I like my black Converse.

Favorite color? Why?
My favorite color is black because it is a good color.

Common misconceptions about yourself?
Once someone asked me if I was a furry. Also people think I listen to Twenty One Pilots.

How do stereotypes affect you?



I don’t listen to Twenty One Pilots and I really don’t like being associated with them.

well. hello again XP. My name is Amber Walsh, but on my myspace account i go by  we_r_bringing_back_emo1, and my instagram name is  @lost_in_the_blade . And i would appreciate it if you only referred to me as that. I am 13 years old, questioning female, and bi. In the mornings I wake up, i question my life, go get a bowl of captain crunch, and then go back to bed because I am to emo to be awake.
